OneSentence Pro Privacy Policy Last Updated: February 24, 2026 1. Our Philosophy Your thoughts belong to you. OneSentence Pro is built on Privacy by Architecture. We didn't just decide not to collect your data; we built a system that is unable to see it. 2. Scope of this Policy This policy covers the OneSentence Pro macOS Application ("the Application") and the onesentence.app website, including its subdomains ("the Website"). 3. The OneSentence Pro Application (100% Offline Core) The Application is a strictly local-first utility for all core intelligence. - Zero Collection: The Application does not collect, store, or transmit your voice, text, or clipboard content. - Local Processing: All AI inference (Whisper and Supertonic) occurs entirely on your Mac's hardware. Your data never leaves your device. - Licensing Verification: The Application connects to our licensing server exclusively to verify the status of your 15-day trial or purchased license, and to download the necessary AI models on first launch. It does not transmit any user content. - Temporary Files: Audio recordings are held in temporary memory or a transient local file for the duration of transcription and are permanently deleted immediately afterward. - No Tracking: We do not use analytics, crash reporting SDKs, or any form of behavioral tracking within the Application binary. 4. The OneSentence Pro Website & Feedback Form When you visit our Website or use our web-based Feedback Form, standard web protocols apply: - Feedback Submissions: If you choose to use the "Share Feedback" feature during uninstallation, the data you explicitly provide (rating and text) is transmitted to our Cloudflare-hosted backend and stored in a secure database. This data is not linked to your identity. - Web Logging: Like most websites, our server logs capture standard metadata provided by your browser, such as IP address and User-Agent, to help us detect bot abuse and understand system compatibility. - Cookies: Our Website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. 5. Purchases & Licensing Our secure purchase process is handled by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. - Account Data: When you purchase a license, Lemon Squeezy collects your billing information, email, and name. As the developer, we have access to this customer record for support, tax compliance, and license management purposes. - Data Separation: This account data is strictly separated from your usage data. We cannot link your purchase identity to your local audio recordings or transcripts, because that content never leaves your device. 6. Data Security & Retention Feedback data is stored securely using Cloudflare D1 and is used exclusively for product improvement. We do not sell or share user data with third parties. 7. Your Rights Since we do not collect personal identifiers within the Application itself, we have no way to link specific content data back to you.
